Officina by Magis is a collection of simple, elegant furniture with wrought iron legs. The Bouroullec brothers wanted to utilize the traditional forging technique in contemporary design and dreamed up a minimalist iron base featuring a raw finish with unique tool marks. The slender but sturdy iron legs have been galvanized and combined with polypropylene seats, which makes the Officina chairs suitable also for outdoor use.
Material: frame in wrought iron, galvanized or cataphoretically-treated and painted in polyester powder. Seat and back in standard injection moulded polypropylene with glass fibre added (suitable for outdoor use) or in beech plywood. Also available in polypropylene covered in premium grade leather or in fabric (Kvadrat “Divina Mélange” and “Divina MD”).
